      Great experience - variety of work to do so you do not get into a rut Great people- always willing to help

      Cons

      As with most public accounting firms, busy season does require a lot of hours and travel can get to be too much at times.

      Pros

      Workload of roughly 50-60 hours per week during busy season. There's usually alcohol at meetings and such.

      Cons

      Management is relatively new to their roles. You have to schedule time off 6-8 months in advance, and managers or partners aren't usually happy about things that come up. Management frequently asks staff to work paid time off. There are no public clients, only private and nonprofit.

      All benefits of being in public accounting world. Good learning curve, experience in different tax arenas, experience for CPA test.

      Cons

      Low pay, below the average for this position and experience. No opportunity to grow if partners are not interested in your career advancement.
