Pros

Not bad at the team level. Good culture.

Cons

Base pay is not competitive and the benefits are a slap in the face, particularly if you have a spouse or family on your insurance plan. No bonuses ever. Poor flexibility. The future is even more uncertain for employees now that private equity will be involved. They also have poor technology that wastes a lot of time and whether you bill that time to the client or put it to admin you will get in trouble. You’re supposed to eat the time and work extra so that they don’t have to invest in their company. Promotions and raises have little to do with your performance as an individual and have a lot to do with how your team and office performed relative to other teams and offices. Competing for scraps. Also acts as independent offices rather than one firm. Most people have never worked with a single person from another location.

Pros

Yearly bonus, Can carry over PTO to following year, Gained IT field experience while there, Holidays off, Overtime opportunities during tax season

Cons

All techs are required to take a quarterly PIP review while Level 2 and higher ups get a pass from taking a PIP, Typical "Corporate America" place of employment - Techs jobs are always threatened by hostile/toxic partners in the firm and higher ups in IT, Lack of manpower during mergers that leave the helpdesk vulnerable, Office politics, Favoritism among IT management
