Pros

The pay is decent. Store managers are hourly so you get paid for over time. But don't go over or your will be written up. Don't be late more than once in three months or you'll be written up or subject to termination. Policies are unrealistic.

Cons

This was the worst place I ever worked at. I loved my job but the district manager and human resources director in my region were terrible. High stress. High expectations. High school drama. Hr takes everything everyone has to say seriously including former employees who have been terminated for theft or policy violations. You will constantly be defending yourself. No work life balance. No one to trust.

Pros

The people are the greatest asset that the company has. Working for a company that is doing meaningful volunteer work and projects in the community is also rewarding.

Cons

The challenges are many. Low pay, no opportunity to advance and long hours are among the top struggles of working here. Also outdated systems and disorganization make work slow and tedious. As the company has shifted to a more corporate atmosphere, the employees that have been loyal have gotten lost in the shuffle.

Pros

Firm believers on promoting from within however a really good strategy on keeping internal promotes under paid.

Cons

Heavy workload. Inconsistent on merchandise delivery always landed weeks after launch and all at once. Consistently having to re brand store due to late merchandise and absolutely no extra hours for added workload or tasking projects. The company expects excellent results in a task oriented business with little to no extra coverage!
