      Pros

      The pros are the company values. Everyone is treated with respect. Also, there is room for growth since the company prefers to promote from within. The work overload can be a bit much sometimes and late nights are expected.

      Cons

      The salary leaves much to be desired. I do not believe the pay matches the amount of work required. For a company that is expanding at such a fast rate. they should pay their employees more.

      Decent Company to Work For

      Pros

      Loved the work and people. Pay was decent, Hours were okay. Discount was an added bonus and they offered a gift basket for new moms that are employees.

      Cons

      Don't get sick or injured because they will under-cut you and replace you without speaking to you or giving you a decent reason as to why. Even though you have a real documented injury. They will also have the staff at your store cut you off and not speak with you until you receive the letter from HR stating that they have removed you from your position. Also there are no benefits unless you are an assistant store manager or store manager.

      Pros

      The company really cares about their employees! Lots of opportunities! Benefits are good, training is decent, management pay is competitive. Carters believes in Quality of Life! Carters is always looking for ways to develop employees and are awesome at promoting from within but always keeping an eye out for outside talent. Best retail job I've ever had! Carters has spoiled me, it would be hard to go to another retailer after working at Carters.

      Cons

      Pay for part time people is terrible. It was hard to keep great part timers. Also need more training hours for Part time people.
