Pros

The pizza making was fun and I enjoyed the freedom of the job, being especially flexible with me being in high school at the time.

Cons

The management would train someone for about a week and then feel like it was acceptable to leave that person alone in the kitchen for the busiest times. I was told by multiple people that i was the only non-management employee doing my job correctly and that pressured me to stay with the company longer than I had wished. I applied shortly after turning 16, in the 2 years working there I was promised a management position upon turning 18; lo and behold, excuses were all I received. In my 2 years I had 4 general managers, the last is still there at the time, I found it incredibly difficult to talk to her knowing she was lying to me the whole time, knowing she was making excuses for people on their 20th strike. There was a period where there was only a gm and a food service leader with no assisting manager so it was difficult to plan time off or anything of the sort. I had received multiple pay raises but once minimum wage increased, those raises were cut.

Pros

The hours and base pay are above average especially for those just entering the workforce!

Cons

You are competing for hours and with how high their turnover rate is, you're almost always training someone new. (I was training somebody on MY 3rd week there)
