Pros

People are truly committed to the mission of improving the healthcare system. Company is creating a new category, Enterprise Healthcare Management, that we believe will become a must-have service for HR departments and their employees.

Cons

Company went public early so there are definitely some growing pains. But that's part of the opportunity for working here, since new structures and processes are being set up on a daily basis.

Pros

The people who work here are very smart, collaborative, and passionate. It's refreshing to be in an environment where people are happy to be at work. The senior leadership is working hard to be transparent. One of the unique things I find is the Q&A's every other Friday with Gio and another EC member (they rotate). It never ceases to amaze me the questions that are asked and how honestly they are answered. I truly enjoy being a part of a company that has such a commitment to transparency and our other values.

Cons

One of the challenges about working at Castlight is that it's going through growing pains. At times it's difficult to have people accept and execute new processes. It's interesting to be in a company during the time of which it was a start-up and is now becoming more of an established company. I find that some individuals are disgruntled by this change because they are used to the "start-up world" and having few people in the company but, in my experience this is pretty fantastic.

Pros

Castlight has friendly, smart co-workers, awesome company values and a fast-paced environment where you are constantly learning and growing. Leadership is open to feedback and meets with employees weekly. You get great benefits, competitive compensation, fun events, learning opportunities (both formal and informal) all in a family-friendly environment. It's a company that lives and breathes it's values: Courage, Transparency, Passion, Excellence and Community!

Cons

Fast growing company that doesn't yet have all the kinks worked out. But if you are up for the challenge of helping create solutions, it's a great opportunity!
