Pros

The team at Castlight is really great - they are all smart, creative, passionate and determined. The leadership has a progressive view of employee development and growth and place a lot of importance on internal mobility. The company is growing so quickly that there's so many areas one can develop and your career can take many different paths if you would like it to. Castlight is located in a great location downtown.

Cons

You need to take initiative to move up in the organization. Castlight is growing extremely fast so there's some lack of processes and many changes. We do have three offices on Spear st that are separated and that's not great but, it's manageable.

What you look for in work; fast paced, innovative products, great leadership team, inspiring CEO, and most importantly - meaningful work. The mission here is very easy to get behind. Wonderful customers that see the value. Blue chip account list for sure.

Cons

Market doesn't know what to do with us as the space is not defined or crowded. Long cycles that are due to cyclical nature of the business.

Mission driven company that has created the opportunity to drive efficiencies and bring market forces to the healthcare industry. The people that work here are incredibly hard working. Management is open to change as the Company scales and is making efforts to improve the employee experience.

Cons

Demanding job that does not always allow for work / life balance. Management is fairly new and is still figuring out what the company wants to be when it grows up.
