      Pros

      Inspiring mission of the company as a whole. The employees are driven and inspiring each other to try harder to make a difference in the healthcare industry with the Castlight product.

      Cons

      The cafeteria is stocked with awesome food, I just wish the soy milk was organic but its still great there is soy milk in addition to the organic milk varieties that are already provided.

      Flexibility to work from home and to take personal time when needed Supportive professional growth environment Collaborative and intelligent colleagues - perhaps the greatest group of professionals with whom I have had the pleasure to work Truly feels like a "work family" where you can see and feel friendships forming which go beyond the office environment Dynamic, fast-paced meaningful work and projects Ability for an individual to make a big impact on a project or function

      Cons

      Below are a few observations but should not overshadow the fact that Castlight is an awesome company for which to work! Since Castlight operates in the health care space, it can tend to feel a bit more conservative then a traditional start-up or SaaS company operating in other industries Communication from executives down through the ranks could be improved. The culture is political in nature which, in my opinion, comes from the Executive suite Castlight is extraordinarily email and meeting heavy.

      Pros

      Brilliant, well connected, accomplished and approachable senior management. The larger team is comprised of smart, driven, humble, honest and simply inspiring individuals. If you want to be a part of something truly special and work for a well-funded, well-managed, super-focused company that is putting it's heart into revolutionizing health care, then Castlight might just be for you.

      Cons

      I only wish I had started my career at a company like Castlight sooner! Unfortunately I have worked at enough places to know that Castlight is unique. I would considerate myself very fortunate to have this be the last company on my resume!
