Pros

Public school work schedule, so work life balance is good.

Cons

Almost everything else: 1. They purposely will make your schedule so you JUST below the FT status so you can't receive benefits. 2. The monthly meetings are extremely condescending. They treat teachers like they are not well trained or intelligent. 3. To piggyback on #2, they don't seem to higher the best teachers, I was always shocked by some of the comments made by teachers at the monthly meetings. 4. The pay is terrible. They are a for profit educational management company that receives a ton of money from the government, but they don't compensate their teachers well. I was there for six years and never was given a pay raise.

Pros

Learning is very organized and materials are fabulous. Even for special education students, I didn't have to modify much

Cons

I received a very detailed evaluation. It was mostly positive but I really did not know How professional it really was.
