      Okay pay not enough hours

      Pros

      Pay was $27/hr Schedule was steady and good for part-time work.

      Cons

      I was onboarded with a promise of 30 hours but that never happened and I was stuck with 15. They don't take out federal taxes so you end up owing during tax season. Curriculum is absolute crap so you have to know what you're doing and have extra resources that actually work. Yes, we can't use outside resources but theirs aren't effective.

      Responsive managers who clearly communicate, with many materials available through an online training system

      Cons

      The district is challenging to work with. The specialist role was not clarified on the client end before the start of the contract, so there has been a mismatch of expectation compared to what Catapult advertised. For example, the client changed the job locations after Catapult posted the position; they are not the same number of sites or days per week, and the sites are further from home. There has also been a mismatch in understanding about the role of the specialist and how much autonomy they have to work with teachers.
