Pros

A lot of freedom in how you do counseling and work with students and families for counseling. Friendly and helpful staff and coworkers

Cons

Everything depends on school you are placed in. Strict rules for following title 1 guidelines that are not always clear until a problem arrises. Hourly with no summer pay or pay during school breaks. Disorganized, lack of supervision, work alone for the most part unless you have other counselors at your school from different companies
