Pros

- Competitive salary for Data Scientists when considering that this isn't London - Long established company (Perkins, which was bought by Caterpillar 20+ years ago) with good company culture - Progression pathways, opportunities to mentor/get mentored, etc - Best of both worlds when it comes to the US-UK professional culture - exposure to American corporate culture while retaining a British feel and work values

Cons

- Company has moved to 5-days in the office - A well established company employee grade system that sometimes feel stifling and can discourage quick moves up the ladder - Considering the recent economic situation around the world, a tightening of the belt has been put into place when it comes to things like international business travel

Replacing US jobs and workers with foreign
