Pros

Bonuses can be decent. With a good supervisor you can do well.

Cons

Typical too-large company problems. Rewards can seem arbitrary and capricious; those under poor management can suffer. Wait.... re-org!

Pros

Good pay and benefits. There are many good engineers to work with. There are opportunities to work world wide. Training program for new engineers.

Cons

Complete lack of integrity. Too much red tape to get things done. Stockholders come first every time. Complete lack of technical career path for engineers. Cyclical product market causes a feast or famine budget environment.
