Pros

Great benefits such as medical, dental, 401K and tuition reimbursement.

Cons

The working atmosphere especially in the offices at GSHMC are not diverse. Working as a person of color could be a little challenging. Management can be very power hungry and not really care for their workers.

Pros

Plenty of overtime. Most staff was friendly. Room to move around and switch positions, etc.

Cons

Sometimes when coworkers are stressed they snap at you. You get used to it though; it’s a tough job!

Pay, Insurance except for parttime too high, overtime, once your in the door able to transfer to other departments

Cons

Compare to other hospitals in long island pay is low
