Pros

Exciting job. Different everyday. Amazing staff. Shifts went by quickly.

Cons

No room for growth. That's the only con I can really add.

Pros

Great people to work with, has pretty good benefits, and salary is pretty decent. Worked on a really nice unit for the past few years with great nurses, need to leave due to hours/shifts

Cons

Management is trained to make money instead of taking care of patients and employees. They don't care that you haven't eaten all day or even had a chance to use the restroom in last 12 hrs

Pros

Patient centered care. Work on a regular unit on weekends . Allows for proper one on one time with residents.

Cons

May work short, which increases patient number, thus not allowing for any extended care to resident. May be floated on occasion, thus not familiar will residents needs.
