It is in the middle of Long island. Transportation is not so convenient there if you don't have a car.

Pros

Depending on your direct manager flexible with school schedule and easy to get tuition assistance. Recently started to hire and promote with in more.

Cons

Lost magnet status, poor management upper and local, dire staffing, lack of working equipment. Reversal of clinical ladder-raise system meaning without a masters cannot move up pay scale. All problems lead to the nurse at fault. Poor nurse-Doctor relations. Inability to retain staff.
