Pros

Although the hospital has changed significantly over the last few years, it is still a great place to work

Cons

Upper management is consistently a problem. Frequently appears that they have no idea what they are doing. Thankfully on my unit,we do!

Pros

Best people I've ever worked with. Felt like a real team. I regret leaving every single day.

Cons

Management is not involved enough. Have no idea how to manage employees. Luckily they basically manage themselves.

Pros

Great team work and compassionate motivated people to work with. Always striving for improvement. Exceptional efforts toward infection control on the units. Annual raises for nursing staff.

Cons

ER needs improvements to help with patient satisfaction. Efforts seem to be limited to expediting discharges throughout the hospital to move admitted patients to the floors. This is only a small part of changes that can be made and results in discharged patients being kicked out of there rooms before their ride can pick them up.
