Pros

If you are in a non-clinical position, the pay is higher than any doctors office. Prior to major financial issues this USED TO BE a nice place to work.

Cons

Constant lay offs. Low moral. Refuses to disclose information regarding the status of the hospital and the status of your job. Everyday everyone goes into work just wondering if it is going to be their last day. Incompetent supervisors that don't stand up for their employees or their department.

Pros

Great insurance, reimbursement for education, nice amount of time off, very close-knit community of employees.

Cons

Cannot take earned time off because there is no staff available to cover, very underpaid for position, covering for employees who left to go elsewhere mainly due to the lack of competitive salary offering, micromanagement at its finest, lack of educational growth in the workplace, no direction.
