Pros

I don’t have any positives.

Cons

Administration is terrible. They have monthly meetings to “listen” to nurses concerns but nothing changes. Director of (I won’t say here) curses and belittles certain units and speaks poorly about staff to other units. There is a lot of floating, high patient acuity, barely time for a break, you can tell the staff is exhausted. When OT is needed, it is not approved when necessary. Truly a terrible place to work. If you love CHS, you’re better off at St. Francis.

Pros

Very good way to get your foot in the door in the health care field

Cons

The only thing I dislike about this job is biweekly pay
