Pros

Small and everyone is like family. Good stepping stone to get your experience here and transfer somewhere else.

Cons

Low pay compared to other hospitals in the area.

Pros

-Good Salary -Loan Reimbursment/ Tuition Assistance -Opportunities for growth -Good place to begin, but after a year, get out. It's not a great place to stay. The turnover is high for a reason!

Cons

-Micromanagement -Patient complaint or mistake = Write up before any discussion -New monthly on call policy -Very poor staffing- nurses do a ton of ancillary work and ancillary can be extremely rude and resentful. -I never felt like the hospital genuinely cared about the staff and nothing was ever good enough.

Pros

I have worked for St Francis as a coder for 8 years. Great working environment. Supervisors care about us and very flexible.

Cons

Changes take a long time to be implemented. They pay much better than they used to. They still need to upgrade the salaries
