Pros

Small community hospital located in Nassau County

Cons

Will make pharmacists sign agreement to no vacations for first 6 months of employment and then after that time period not able to grant vacation citing no staff. Wants vacation request in a year in advance and then will reject majority of your vacation requests anyway.

Pros

Competitive Benefits and four weeks initial annual accrual of vacation

Cons

I was informed during my exit interview that I would have my accrued vacation paid out. I have since received my final paycheck, but no vacation was ever paid out.

Pros

There are some wonderful staff members here.

Cons

Most of the staff is rude and condescending. Good Samaritan is run like a playground - the "cool kids" are allowed to do whatever they want (not follow protocols nor safety measures at all) while newer or less liked staff members are hazed until they are weeded out. Nurses eat their young here for sure.
