Pros

Flexible schedule Attempt to keep home care nurse's patients close together to facilitate time organization Excellent compensation and bonus incentives

Cons

Overload nurses with cases to manage leading to unsafe practices and frustration On Call which is meant for emergencies is frequently used to complete visit "overages" for the day High turn over rate due to putting nurses out in the field prior to completion of their orientation Due to short staffing they frequently have to mandate on call Management has a "bully mentality". Not an exaggeration.
