Pros

Wide global and sectoral coverage allows almost limitless scope for personal and professional development. Friendly, interesting and supportive colleagues. Some policies and systems are clear and well-run. Educational support and some flex-time.

Cons

Staff care and safety are extremely low priority. Program and management quality vary dramatically between regions of the world. Focus is increasingly on mobilizing funding, at the expense of quality programs. Little to no comp time for extremely long working hours. A difficult place for women to work.

Cons

The management team in the field could be better leaders and managers;
