Pros

Imagine working at a startup company without all the drag of working at a startup. At Cedar, there's an agile, dynamic, and lean workforce full of enthusiastic individuals who enjoy being around each other. Everyone listens, contributes, and doesn't take themselves too seriously. Each and every individuals take pride not only in their work, but each other - I hadn't realized how rare this was until I experienced it firsthand. It's extraordinarily empowering to know that not only your boss, but your boss's boss, and even the CEO has your back, and is actually accessible for any concerns or input you may have. Keep in mind, it is fast-paced (as is a start-up), but this contributes to the camaraderie and everyone rising to the occasion.

Cons

Although it's not really a con, the headcount isn't as large as many companies of its size. This actually is a good thing in many ways, but it's worth mentioning. Additionally, there is a push to return to work on a hybrid model. However, it's a totally reasonable one that encourages the employees to actually interact when they're in-office, and be productive when they're working from home. This creates a Goldilocks-fit of flexible time and in-person interaction. Again, not really a con, but this company places emphasis on coming to work instead of a fully remote model.
