Pros

Now that I've experienced a job that lets me run my own business the way I want to run it there's no way I'm going back to an everyday 9 to 5 making whatever they allow me to make. Here I control my own paycheck, my own schedule and pretty much my own way of living my personal life. If do envy those that I see start with us right out of school because I didn't get brought on to this company until I had gone through two lengthy employment stops first. They are really hitting the ground running having the ability to make this type of money so soon out of school. There's really just something to be said about looking forward to go to work everyday because everyday is a new opportunity to do something great.

Cons

There are times when you work with others that aren't as enthused about making money (for some strange reason) and they bring that attitude to the sales floor. Of course this can be said of any job but I do like that these individuals tend to weed themselves out which works out great for those looking to make some good money.

Pros

They give you all of the tools and guidance to succeed. I worked in Insurance for over 8 years and the only thing I regret is not finding this opportunity sooner! If you are willing to get paid truly what you are worth and are willing to put in the effort you are greatly rewarded. I would reccommend this to anyone interested in sales and has drive.

Cons

not an hourly job, 100% commission, but if you are confident in yourself and your skills this can also be a bonus because commissions are not capped. For some people this can be an issue, This job is not for everyone, but is very rewarding to the right person.

Pros

Great flexibility of schedule; will work with you on days off, etc. Opportunity to make sales outside the store ot pick up extra hours in store..

Cons

As a quick preface, I sold cellular before CS and am doing cellular now ( always for more money and a better environment). The most off-putting element and the reason I left is the way CS cunningly finds so many ways to pass their corporate liabilities on to their sales staff. As an independent contractor I agreed to this. But when phones are stolen on your watch they not only make you pay for them but also give you 0 back-up (i.e. access to video, help pressing charges). The principle makes sense ...except you make slightly LESS than you do at other Verizon venues. .
