Pros

Can make as much as you want if you put in the hours. Great people to work with on the floor If you were starting a business this company's business plan would be perfect because it's the reps that take any lose and not the company.

Cons

Where to begin. First lack of inventory is a joke especially from a company that takes spiff money from the rep if they don't hit a certain number of new acts. How about using that money you take to load up on inventory for your sales reps? There is no moving up in this company and even when you do, you are still simply a sales rep with more responsibility. Went from being a team atmosphere to more of an individual/cut throat atmosphere. Charge stupid $35 set up fees to customers and then the company takes half of the 'set up' fee as if they did anything to deserve it. Oh and your personal cell number is the one that's blown up once the customer sees this on their receipt. Shady sales reps are rewarded but never answer their phones when customer calls so other reps are stuck dealing with the lies they've been told. Pay structure is almost impossible to understand, deacts are impossible to track, company charges reps for all missing items. Promotes false growth of the company. Opens up other stores while their old stores are ignored. Insurance and dental coverage is one of the worst packages I've seen. Reps are paying $500 plus for a family plan. Reps who have been there 10+ years are still just sales reps. That should say something about their professional growth potential. Good enough to hit quota every month but not good enough to move up in the company. No PTO so taking any kind of lengthy vacation is pointless because they still expect you to hit their non changing monthly quota. If you don't, they will take up to 80% of your spiff money. 'Ghost lines' are added to people's accounts and applauded by management as long as you don't get caught. Tons of people are leaving this company because they've gotten away from what truly matters, their sales reps and the customer. It's all about putting money is Dane and the regional managers pocket while taking away from the sales reps.

Pros

I've spent the better part of two decades in Retail Wireless (mostly Management). I've worked on the Corporate side, for Indirects and for National Retailers. There is no better company to work for in Wireless. Period. Here's why- Management genuinely cares about you and your opinion- They go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Training isn't an afterthought- You're taught how to be a professional salesperson. I haven't seen anyone fail for not getting the attention they need to be successful. The pay structure is far away the best in Wireless- Many top sales people would double their income moving to CS. If you're a go-getter, it's truly life changing income. It's an actual career opportunity- If you're willing to bring your A-game daily you can easily make enough income to support a family in this position. But this is just the start. If you put in the effort and want to move on they will guide you down a path that doesn't suddenly dead-end. The people who make the decisions that affect your ability to earn income, your schedule and overall general well-being don't do it from an Ivory tower- Leadership is in the stores regularly. They know what it takes to be successful here and don't make decisions that negatively impact you. They're genuinely looking out for your customers best interest. Most companies say that but rarely back it up. CS always does what's best for your customers. No more losing a long term customer over a dumb policy. It's fun- If you like taking with people, solving problems and working with cutting edge technology it will never feel like a job. On top of that, it's super rewarding to hear customers thank you for helping them out.

Cons

It's not all gumdrops and lolly-pops. You have to work hard everyday. You'll often go home mentally exhausted (if you're doing it right). You're basically running your own business. Big rewards require big effort. If you're not a grinder, it's probably not the right fit for you. But if you're tired of working hard and getting no where fast, this opportunity will change your life.

Pros

Your opportunity to make a decent living (20k-50k/yr) is available. Hours are very flexible.

Cons

The Pay structure and management. The District Managers non stop announce "I'm always available to help at any means!" but when you call them they immediately talk to you as if you are a worthless piece of trash and deflect everything on to you. They will not offer any help. They are rude, condescending, arrogant and very selfish. Past your initial training you receive, do not expect any further guidance. If you make a mistake, you will suffer the consequences with no advice on what to do next time. As for the pay... The use the most archaic form of a pay stub you can imagine. I feel like i'm reading a secret government encrypted message when I look at my pay stub. You will not be able to figure out how or why you got paid what you did. If you ask any questions to your "Team Lead" or the "Managers" they will either claim they don't know or you are an idiot and should know what you made and why you made what you did. Almost all of the stores are HIGHLY outdated. They NEVER update the display models, they only push LG models (even though they have an absurd amount of problems). Most of the displays in the stores are 2-4 years old and don't even work. The prices of accessories in stores are astronomical.. Cases going for $40-$50 that sell on amazon for $10-$15. If you want to make some money, don't mind a work environment that would remind you of an MTV drama show, don't care about advancing or the fact your management plays 150% favoritism then this is the job for you!
