Pros

You have free use of your cell phone. It’s easy to change your schedule around.

Cons

I was with the company for 6 years. They pride themselves on “great work culture” and “home/life balance.” There is no PTO. No vacation time. They do NOT pay you for meetings, and they are mandatory to attend. They are 6am, biweekly, and at a store up to 2 hours away. They schedule meetings, with 2 days notice, on school days and recommend bringing your kids to the 6am meeting 2 hours away, then driving them to school. They take money from your commissions with no heads up and cannot provide a reason. They force employees to leave fake google reviews to make the company look better than it is. They also force employees to use customers phones to leave fake google reviews without their knowledge. If the company loses a phone, or is a victim of theft, that money comes out of your commission check. Even if it wasn’t your fault, if you were clocked in at all during that day, you have to eat the cost of lost product- this includes FedEx boxes that show up empty. Management encourages unethical selling tactics.

Poor Work Environment

Easy work. Can make money when it's busy.

Cons

Top management of the Wisconsin market are very aggressive towards the women that work there. It can make the environment feel very uncomfortable. They are very old school and condescending, especially towards women (also, unwanted advances are common). They're also stingy with bonuses. There is a lot of favoritism. People are promoted and fired based on how the management feel about them personally and not because of actual performance. This is very bad because some members of management are terrible and petty. People are often disciplined for missing work even though upper management have a history of DUIs that cause them to miss days. Any mistake you make you personally pay for. Even when there's a system error or someone steals from the store it comes out of the employee's pockets. This can cost you thousands of dollars out of your check. Good potential money. Terrible benefits/insurance. Heads up, they gave people in the market a chance to raise their bonuses by giving five star reviews on here.

Boys Club

Pros

Limited supervision while working the sales floor- freedom however 100% comm

Cons

Boys club- all regional leadership are men- maybe 1-2 that are women. Regional management has constant trips that are male related and never include women. Want to know why- its a boys club. Your only shot at advancement is if you are a man and make friends with the leaders.
