Pros

Great management, very positive atmosphere, benefits are good, not a lot of micromanaging, really have to mess up for an extended period of time to get fired, fun place to work in general. I think this would be an awesome starter job in sales, you learn a lot from training and problem solving trying to help people.

Cons

Encouraged to sell phones that may not be as high quality but will make you more money. Most people are honest, but there are employees (that excel) that fit the typical greasy salesperson bill. This created frustration in dealing with fixing the problems those employees created with customers, frequently while those employees were selling something else and you were stuck with their mess not selling anything. Schedule changes from month to month and getting shifts covered can be challenging, but for important stuff management always came through.

Pros

I've come from a smaller retailer, and Cellular Sales literally doesn't compare. The systemization Cellular Sales employs breeds the highest quality salespeople because of their consistent attention to the needs and goals of it's employees. Trainings are constantly held to maintain a high level of salesmanship, work schedules are liberating compared to your average 9-5, and the opportunities available from the numerous locations Cellular Sales has makes this in my honest opinion the best wireless and wire-line indirect dealer to work out of. A pleasant place to work and highly lucrative if you treat this business as your own.

Cons

Aside from your own personal issues that could interfere with work-life balance, it's a shame they don't have gym equipment in the back! Or an electric stove. Or big enough refrigerators in certain locations.
