Truthfully, this is the worst place I've ever worked. The culture is toxic. The pay is very low. Management takes advantage of inexperienced engineers, works them as if they're senior engineers, and makes them complete projects in less than half the time that it would take for a senior engineer to complete them. There's insane overtime with no overtime pay, all under the guise of doing what it takes to get the job done. Projects are always understaffed and extremely disorganized. Due dates and deadlines are routinely moved up by weeks or months for no obvious reason, leaving you scrambling. The engineering ethics are questionable at best with brand new engineers designing safety critical components without any oversight from more senior engineers. If you do ask any senior engineers or management a question you're told that you're being disrespectful of their time by not figuring it out yourself. The management is volatile and erratic. They micro manage you to oblivion. They'll publicly ridicule you in front of the customer for something that's their fault in order to save face. They will say one thing one day, turn around the next day, and yell at you for doing what they said yesterday while insisting that they said something completely different. It was very common to hear yelling and screaming from management during all hours of the workday. The employees were constantly on edge never knowing if they were the next target. The hierarchy of management is whoever literally screams the loudest. Don't even try to take PTO or go to a doctor's appointment without being lambasted for it. People usually last about a year here before going to much greener pastures with less stress and more pay. The high turnover rate speaks for itself.
