      Unrealistic expectations by management, poor internal communications about system designs, bad designs become the problem of the programmer

      When this company is on point it is one of the best.

      Cons

      Since covid-19 hit this place has been in it's decline. No one talks to anyone, HR is all but noon existent, and when the decision is made randomly to fire someone, that someone has no chance to defend themselves. The fired individual is never directly told they are fired, no official reason is ever given, and don't expect to hear from HR like they tell you to. This company is a yacht club now, and if you don't own one, you should steer clear.

      Looks can be deceiving!!

      Most (but not all) managers care about their employees Summer hours (they are not official though) Working from home is flexible

      Cons

      Dealing with the administrative (HR, accounts payable) departments Zero lack of structure Lack of money the company actually brings in Low to almost no culture The benefits (medical mostly)
