      Good place to work and break into the education technology space

      Pros

      There is a path for everyone! If you are an Instructional Designer, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Software Developer/Architect, etc; there is a place for you to be and grow in the organization. Even with the recent financial situation, the firm has a positive long-term outlook.

      Cons

      Being in a remote/virtual role is hard to interact with casual conversations. Be prepared to loose the few minutes before/after meetings for additional clarification. You will need to schedule time to talk to stakeholders or move the conversations to additional calls or online chat.

      Good environment for technology workers

      Pros

      True team environment, ownership and decision making pushed down to the actual doers, management involved in and open to making the team space a better place to work. Some recent improvement in career paths for technology workers. A lot of respect for our time and efforts.

      Cons

      High level product and project management approval and strategy is painfully slow, resulting in wasteful context switching and time wasted on non-strategic work while waiting for management to make a decision.

      horrible atmosphere in sales

      You get a Paycheck and car.

      Cons

      All new management. some with no experience in higher ed. And none who care about their people. Territories changed every few months while management fiddles around with trying to make the numbers look better to save their jobs. Huge layoffs over the past year. An almost impossible environment to grow sales.
