Pros

Benefits are good. Some managers listen to employees.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations. Constant turnover of employees. Management styles in some areas is intimidation or "bullying". In lower levels much advancement is not based on ability. Inconsistency in policies for filling positions. Some people can "transition" into positions while others must apply and compete for the same position. Pay raises and bonuses in lower levels are poor.

Pros

Can negotiate rates upon hiring , great health Insurance plans, lots of opportunity to move around, all benefits/deductions, are exempt status are handled electronically. If your supervisor likes you, chances are you will succeed

Cons

Low balled upon hiring, micro-management in some departments, 30 min lunches in some departments, supervisors can block department transfers at free will, supervisors can fire and harass employees and HR does not help, hiring process from job fairs can be disorganized. Hours can change including weekends with no notice or objection (even if those aren’t the hours agreed upon per hiring), Sr Leadership/Mgmt walk around like everyone else is beneath them. Not fans of work from home prior to covid.
