Pros

Most of the people working here are completely dedicated to CEI's mission helping the low income, frail elderly living independently as long as possible. I am continually inspired by my colleagues, and moved by the high level of concern and professionalism--translating into excellent care for our participants.

Cons

CEI is top-down, hierarchical. There needs to be more open communication between upper management and the people who provide direct care to our participants.

While we definitely work hard at CEI, work/life balance is greatly respected and encouraged. Employees are respected and appreciated from the CEO and management. The benefits are competitive.

The services that are provided for the elderly community from Center For Elders are very much needed in this country. It is a pleasure serving the elderly and making a difference in their lives.

Cons

It is a non-profit organization and the salary's are not as competitive as in the private sector.
