Pros

Stable salary, work at your own pace. Good work life balance. No need for constant supervision. Affordable benefits. Good for people with children. Assists in (specific) school advancement. Nice for social events.

Cons

No upward mobility unless someone dies, quits or gets fired. Too many supervisors deciding the future of others they never physically see. Too many politics between co-workers determining future advancement. Upper level management moves around but never hires for new upper level positions. Too many employees settle and start to not care for others outside of their department. No new faces = no change in respecting others
