Pay is very low, especially when you have over 14 years of experience and getting payed $14.40 an hour. Only 42 cent per mile. Most Hospice company pay 55-57 per mile and pay all their CHHA $17 an hour or more, with a raiser. We get NO raises. CHHA's are over worked. Management never backs them up when in need. You work all Holidays if you can't find anyone to cover your patient. NO vacation unless you find someone to cover your patients. Your sick pay is your PTO. No Bonuses on holidays not even on Christmas. Benefits are too high to buy.
