Pros

It is a very relaxed atmosphere and you are able to work independently. They have pretty decent benefits.

Cons

There isn't a lot of room for growth or raises.

Pros

Good therapists. Nice patients. Some good training depending on who’s helping you. Some nice nurses. Obtain new software to reduce redundancy, get rid of bullies who have no business working in healthcare. Healthcare is about pt care not egos. Eliminate multiple layers of management and reduce bureaucracy. Improving field worker time with up to date technology saves time and time is money.

Cons

Literal sweat shop rehab mill transferred from rehab care to Kindred with same punitive sweat shop behaviors. Overworked, unethical practices, underpaid, dishonest with employees, unable to call hr, poor mileage, multiple meetings that have nothing to do with you, multiple mistakes on pay checks, archaic computer systems. If you want to work 24/7 days per week, this is the job for you. High turnover due to total burnout. Poor benefits and poor pay not equal to 24/7 work week. Mandatory weekend work. No work life balance. Inconsistent training with multiple teachers making it difficult almost next to impossible to learn the computer system within proper time frame. This is done intentionally. Lots of bullying from director and case managers just to make work life more difficult. All listed above cons if that’s not difficult enough to have all cons listed above and have director and case managers trying to throw a wrench in your day is not enough for you. Than this is the place for you. Good luck.

Pros

Absolutely no pros to speak of

Cons

They run their offices like sweat houses Their pay structure is not only confusing, but results in grossly underpaid nurses Managers and intake clerks engage in bullying tactics to overwork their staff They take patients that are truly not appropriate for home care so they can collect the $$$. Company pressures clinicians to recertify patients for more than one episode of care so they can collect the $$$, despite there being no further skilled need.
