As the title states, you are just a number—a lot of retired, on-the-job, tenured staff who do minimal work. Management allows them to coast, so they do not have to fill that spot or upset the cart. So many in a management role can not perform clinician duties, do workflow, or still make a visit but will tell you to pick up more visits when you are already drowning. Nurses that have not been in patient care for so long are out of touch with reality. Pay is on the low side of average. Benefits are average.
