      The employees feel supported both by their colleagues and by administration. It's like a family at Gentiva, no one is left alone.

      Cons

      The case load can be challenging at times.

      Pros

      I enjoy working in the Hickory branch. Flexibility in setting schedule, plenty of opportunities to grow, tons of resources available for patient care and education, great benefits, love my coworkers, everyone is helpful, best team I have worked with!

      Cons

      There is a lot to learn and it takes about 6 months to really feel confident. Good thing is there is always someone willing to help.

      Pros

      Loved seeing and refreshing my nursing skills with wounds and several different medical conditions!

      Cons

      Very poor communication, changes to schedule without verbal communication, email only, no report received on new clients, expected to travel between 3 counties in a day and when asked for a change hours are denied or "no clients in your area this week " I was told (via email) Over worked, extra time on your expense spent charting (especially if RN)
