      The employees feel supported both by their colleagues and by administration. It's like a family at Gentiva, no one is left alone.

      Cons

      The case load can be challenging at times.

      Pros

      I enjoy working in the Hickory branch. Flexibility in setting schedule, plenty of opportunities to grow, tons of resources available for patient care and education, great benefits, love my coworkers, everyone is helpful, best team I have worked with!

      Cons

      There is a lot to learn and it takes about 6 months to really feel confident. Good thing is there is always someone willing to help.

      Bad upper management

      Pros

      Great clinicians. But they are not given the proper treatment they deserve and are not listened to when it comes to office politics.

      Cons

      Bad upper management. Lower staff is never informed of important happenings. Favoritism abounds and is evidenced by who gets promoted.
