Pros

There is a Flexible schedule , friendly staff, good pay rate, ease of documentation. . I really do not have any other pros.

Cons

There is not much individual recognition, the same people get recognized all the time even though others do awesome jobs too.

Working with great people , making difference for the patients and families

Cons

If you review industry salaries you will see that Gentiva compensations fall way behind , medical coverage costs a lot and covers very little ( even thought you get to choose a health plan) . Very little PTO that you can not carry over . Overtime does not exist even if you work long hours . Due to staff turnover you are always covering for someone ( doing your and another person job or part of it )

Pros

Mine was a created position, and they have been very fair with me. I have loved everyone I have worked with from clinical, office up through management. Physically I could no longer do the original nursing job I was hired for, so they offered me the job I have been doing for last year.

Cons

There is nothing that sticks out. At times you get aggravated, but nothing memorable.
