      Patient care is not important. Numbers are the only thing that they care about.

      Pros

      Pay is great for this area. Home health patients, for the most part anyway, really need the assistance and are appreciative. You are not micromanaged. When the work is done you can go home.

      Cons

      Difficult to balance work and life. Can see up to 10 pts daily and then be asked to see additional patients . High turnover rate for nursing staff. Environment is not controlled as each patients home is unique and has its own set of challenges. On call rotation for entire county.
