Pros

- A fun place to work (nerf gun wars, ping pong table, sumo wrestling at holiday party, quadcopters, company group activities, etc.) - Supportive environment (very understanding of family obligations that arise outside of work, support employees' higher education goals, etc.) - Management team is very transparent about company goings-on and ways you can continually improve your own work performance/help your team reach its project goals - Great perks (terrific benefits, cereal bar, yoga ball chairs, snacks, etc.) - Centercode is experiencing positive growth which has opened up a lot of new positions and opportunities for employees

Cons

- The company is experiencing a lot of rapid growth that has put some restraint on resources - The culture is fast-paced and constantly changing, so it might not be a good fit for everyone - The office environment can sometimes be distracting (i.e. nerf gun wars mentioned above), so you have to able to multi-task to do well here - Centercode does not micromanage its employees, which might not be the preferred work culture of potential employees

Pros

Management is very lenient with sick time/vacation time, good work-life balance, casual work environment, small company, excellent place to work if you're one of the favorites

Cons

Strong clique/inner circle, which can make it feel like you're in a high school movie playing "he-said-she-said". Quite a bit of favoritism going on; alternately, obvious and persistent antagonism of people who the inner circle don't like. Very poor communication between management and the rest of the company, leading to poor morale throughout teams and extreme disorganization. The company is subject to decisions made on a whim, which means no one really knows what's going on at any given time.
