Pros

Collaborative. Nobody expects you to have all the answers. Everybody is willing to share knowledge and help each other. Room for personal growth within the company. Interesting application to work on. Great benefits package. Competitive salaries.

Cons

Legacy software. Often incorporating state of the art technologies into older apis and coding practices. Big application, lots of development time goes to understanding a new part of the system by yourself before you can develop, though that is pretty typical.

Thank you for the review - I'm really glad the collaboration, knowledge-sharing, growth, and benefits have been consistent for you over the last few years. On the legacy-tech challenge, that’s a real tradeoff in a mature system, and we’re focused on making modernization practical and incremental while improving documentation and onboarding so ramping into new areas isn’t a solo puzzle.

Thank you for the review - I’m glad the incentive structure and uncapped commissions felt like real upsides in the role. I also hear the feedback on low base pay and limited flexibility, and we take that seriously as we look at how roles are structured and how we can better support balance while still meeting the needs of the business.

Pros

Lots of opportunity to explore roles in other departments, culture of helpfulness especially at contributor and manager levels.

Cons

Fairly flat org experienced a lot of growth quickly, leadership struggled to adapt and raise up more mid leaders. Everyone wants to contribute and help, but leadership often too in micro decision weeds or removed from important strategy factors. Lots of ongoing transition and not a lot of process for change slows the team down.

Thank you for the review - I’m glad the culture of helpfulness and the ability to explore different paths across the company stood out in a positive way. I also hear the feedback on rapid growth putting strain on structure, decision-making, and change management, and we take that seriously as we work to build stronger mid-level leadership and clearer processes so teams can move faster with less churn.
