Pros

The leaders and staff have a great heart for serving people. Family-oriented environment with lots of long-tenured employees. High integrity. Ambitious national vision. You can feel good about the work you do everyday.

Cons

Salaries are below market and staff raises are not a priority. Attitude is that people will accept low wages because of their personal connection to the work. The financial pressure gets tougher every year with no end in sight. Leadership is so focused on new mergers that legacy infrastructure and staff suffer. High turnover as a result.
