Pros

Excellent non-profit with great employee benefits and generalized training (vs. program specific). I loved this organization and was very impressed with their mission and their great treatment of employees. Great benefits (medical reasonable premium, unheard of DENTAL benefits (NO CAP, everything covered at 100% except crowns and root canals covered at 80%), 403B with matched dollars at 6% first year, 8% second year and max starting at third year at 10%, immediately vested. Lots of upward mobility and encouragement for more education. Most inspiring mentor program in town with employing former clients and people who have received services!!! CCC is all about second chances. :)

Cons

The only issue may come down to department specific training. General overall training like crisis intervention, CPR, diversity, etc. was comprehensive and well done. But some departments did better with their actual positions - be prepared to take some incentive to get the info you need to get your job done and build relationships with coworkers! That said, lots of autonomy as long as the work gets done - this agency encourages creativity and innovation in serving client needs.

Pros

Engaged in very challenging work but with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Has the size and scale to achieve meaningful community impact. Focused on improving both client and employee experience.

Cons

Some of the work and the clients can be very challenging, management could continue to look at ways of improving employee "renewal" opportunities.

Pros

Excellent people and a company who genuinely cares about their employees

Cons

Due to the population they serve, the locations of employment could be considered "rough" areas
