Pros

Very flexible with hours for school Good benefits Better pay than than most Hard work is recognized Can transfer to one of the many other stores in Texas without too much difficulty (HEB included)

Cons

Who your managers are can greatly affect your experience, as with any company (HEB included) If you want a corporate job, there aren't many opportunities are outside of San Antonio

Pros

Great place better than average pay in most areas but not all. love most employes there. they are very loyal to each other and all ways ready to help with a smile on thier face. managers reward good work and customer service.

Cons

A couple of departments have very few people in them that are nice. They talk about others behind thier backs then smile to thier face. 20/30 people in one area and refuse to speak english leaves the 1 r 2 that don't speak spanish out of the conversation, loop, info and clik. Some even pull very mean tricks on the others. Everyone in the store knows it.

Pros

I experienced some of the best working relationships and interactions with food. I learned how to move extremely quickly and serve customers well in a limited time frame.

Cons

Store leadership began whittling away at the customer and employee experience for the sake of the bottom line. Coupons were introduced, which, I believe erodes away at the brand. There is a lot of turnover due to glass ceilings and the importation of talent.
