Pros

The culture is one of respect and teamwork. Everyone that works here has a mission-based approach to work. We love our customers and we love that we get to help them.

Cons

You can feel like you're on an island sometimes because a lot of people work remote. So you have to work hard at making time to connect with colleagues.

Pros

Good, friendly people. Real sense of teamwork within and between divisions (development, support, billing). Open communication.

Cons

Project management still somewhat in flux when I left (recent shift in company ownership). More work to be done to improve consistency across sprints and make the best use of developer time. This may no longer be the case.

Pros

A growing software company with solid (and refreshingly transparent) leadership was appealing from the start of the interview process, but adding what CR stands for puts this company in a league of its own. Everyone at the org is committed to the cause, and this, coupled with senior management's commitment to employee satisfaction, makes the culture second to none in my career thus far. Additionally, a flexible work from home policy is increasingly crucial for many yet often overlooked by orgs, especially in the congested tri-state area. Luckily CR recognizes the importance! I was looking for a role where I could not only continue to learn and grow professionally, but also feel more fulfilled in my work, and that's exactly what I've gotten so far. Excited to see where the team goes from here.

Cons

The current growth phase means there's still plenty of work to be done in terms of formal process implementation and in some cases, fully structured roles, which is a con for folks who thrive on cut-and-dry responsibilities, but a pro for those looking to help shape the future of their department.
