Pros

You're exposed to a lot, you'll do a lot and you'll learn a lot. There are many challenges and resolving them is personally rewarding.

Cons

Management does NOT care about their employees. People get laid off regularly. Some people get laid off because they make too much even though they're great employees. You will do the work of more than one person. You won't get raises or bonuses. According to the Proxy, senior management gets raises, bonuses and retention bonuses even though the company's performance is terrible... declining sales excluding acquisitions, losses every year, high debt and interest and a low and declining stock price.

Pros

Some areas of the company are known for quality work, but those efforts are usually diminished by poor support from corporate HQ and a bad overall reputation.

Cons

Company is run like an investment portfolio. It is not interested in customer service, quality, craftsmanship, or employees. Only shareholders matter. Executives get more shares and big raises, middle management gets unemployment, and everyone else gets big pay cuts.

Too much workload, long hours, no raises for over 6 years, but pay cuts.
