Great Employees, Poor C-level Management

Pros

Great employees who are bright and fun to work with. Work at home available during bad weather or family emergencies. Flexible with time off as needed. Employee children scholarship program Company discounts Summer Hours Indoor Parking Decent cafeteria Good HR department. Initial compensation is competitive. Some of the upper and c-level managements are good and fun people.

Cons

Most decisions are based on improving stock prices rather than improving the business. Most c-level management don't value the employees and the employees know it. Employee morale is low and continues to decline. No raises or bonuses unless you're c-level management. No defined career paths for lower level employees. Management has no employee training development programs or tuition reimbursement programs. Antiquated dress code. Nepotism runs rampant. Fear of layoffs are always looming and occur regularly without warning. Management has an Ivory Tower syndrome and the office space literally reflects this. Employee turnover rate is high.
