There is this weird hierachy there where the owners are religious and the warehouse is.....well.... let's just say I'm in IT and I had to go under desks to fix things and warehouse jokes were there. A little sexist down there to the point where, as a military veteran I was feeling a little uncomfortable. There is managment that clearly have no idea what's going on and it seems like some of the hiring was done because they went to the same church rather than on the merit that they would bring to the company. Oh and one more thing....the emails that are only pointed to the females about how they should dress should probably not happen. If HR has an issue with the way a female is dressing it should be taken up on a one on one basis. Not sending an email to only the women. I asked around. None of the men got any dress code violations emails.

If you want to advance you are in the wrong company. I am one that likes to grow within a company but there is only so far you can go until you hit a wall and can't go any further, it's hard for a family ran business to let outsiders in for higher up positions unless you started with the company from day one. Operations department in this company is way to small for the size of company it is today. PTO is horrible, everything is combined into one, sick time, personal time and vacation time. Hopefully you don't get sick and have a vacation planned all in the same year. This definitely is something that is a negative in this company. Benefits are also not very impressive but as started before the environment of the company makes it hard to want to leave.
